Gilman Scholarship

The Gilman scholarship is for Pell-Eligible students and can work for both study abroad and intern abroad programs. Each year, 3-5 Eckerd students are awarded this prestigious scholarship. Students can receive up to $5000 to support their international program abroad during the semester, Winter Term, or summer.

The Gilman scholarship is very competitive since you are competing against other college students from around the country. If you are studying abroad for the Winter Term, Spring semester, or the summer, the application deadline is the beginning of October. If you want to study abroad during the summer, Fall semester, or Winter Term, the application deadline is the beginning of March.
